Nina Dunic is a fiction writer living in Toronto. She won the Toronto Star Short Story Contest in 2017 and again in 2022, was nominated by The Temz Review for the 2020 Writers’ Trust McClelland & Stewart Journey Prize, and longlisted for the 2019, 2020, and 2022 CBC Short Story Prize. Nina was one of the winners of Humber Literary Review’s 2020 Emerging Writers Short Fiction contest, judged by Waubgeshig Rice. Her work has also appeared in Grain, The Temz Review, The Opiate, and elsewhere. A graduate of the Humber School for Writers, Nina’s debut novel The Clarion and short story collection Everything World Break were recently acquired by Invisible Publishing and are scheduled for publication in 2023 and 2025 respectively.
