DANIEL ALLEN COX

Daniel Allen Cox is an essayist, novelist, editor, and translator. His writing has appeared or is forthcoming in TriQuarterly, The Malahat Review, The Rumpus, Electric Literature, Fourth Genre, Maisonneuve, Open Book Toronto, filling Station, The Advocate, Xtra, and in several anthologies. His work has been nominated for the Lambda Literary Award, the Ferro-Grumley Award, and the ReLit Award, and he is the recipient of grants from Canada Council for the Arts and Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. Daniel has appeared at numerous literary festivals and on CBC Radio One. He is past president of Quebec Writers’ Federation and lives in Tiotia:ke/Montréal. His memoir-in-essays, A Vocabulary for Apostates, was recently acquired by Penguin Canada and is scheduled for publication in 2023.
